Learn a little bit about me...

Mark Novick has designed lighting and projections for theatre, dance, opera, and corporate theatre productions for almost 15 years. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, he holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre and Dance from the University of Texas at Austin and is an MFA Candidate in Lighting and Projection Design from the University of Connecticut.

While in Connecticut, Mark has been honored to design for the Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre School, Arc3Design, and Tim Hunter Design.

Before moving to Connecticut, Mark served as the Lead Lighting Designer for Fastlane Productions, working on a wide array of corporate theatre productions. He considers himself fortunate to have had the opportunity design on a wide variety of productions, working with clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Macy's Department Stores, the City of Denver, 20th Century Fox, and ADT Security.

Prior to working at Fastlane, Mark served as the resident lighting designer in Austin, Texas for the State Theatre Company from 1999-2000 and Austin Playhouse from 2001-2005. Other work in Austin includes working for Teatro Humanidad, Kids Acting, and FronteraFest.

Mark lives in Austin, Texas, has three beautiful children, (Maya, Ari, and Micah), and the best dog ever (Hannah).
